How to enter

Don't forget to read the 2009 Instruction Sheet carefully before filling in your entry. The downloadable instruction sheet and entry form for 2009 is now available below. There are early bird rates for those schools that submit their entries sooner rather than later.

INSTRUCTION SHEET & ENTRY FORM Instruction sheet & entry form (2.2mb - PDF) Please right-click and select "Save target as..." The fee for each learner entered before 31 October 2008 is R20. After 31 October 2008 the entry fee goes up to R25. Question papers will only be sent to those who have paid their entry fees by 30 January 2009. Special arrangements can be made for schools that cannot afford the entry fee. Principals should contact us for details before 30 November 2007. The second closing date is 28 November 2008 The third closing date is 23 January 2009 The examination date is 5 March 2009. Announcements regarding the Science Olympiad 2008 will be distributed via post and/or email, as well as via this website.
